SUMMER STEPS

Current research demonstrates that there is a “summer loss in learning” and the findings indicate that all children experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. On average, students lose approximately 2-2.6 months of grade-level equivalency. In an effort to assist our parents in reducing the “summer loss of learning”, we have created Summer Steps for those LCA students in grades K3-K5 to help them stay engaged academically but not only.

Because space is limited, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis with full-time students having priority. While we will offer daily snacks, lunch will not be provided; therefore, students must bring a packed lunch every day.

Registration will be complete only when you make a nonrefundable deposit of $200/child which will cover the first week of the program. Payments can be made through QuickPay/Zelle at payments@mylogos.org. Please note that should you decide to withdraw your child(ren) from Summer Steps, the deposit remains nonrefundable.
