  • Logos – Field Trips

Field Trips are a highlight of the school year for our students. Whether it is a farm, a museum, a factory, a concert or just a simple walk in nature, children can learn more about the world and how to interact with others when they leave the sheltered environment of the classroom. Whatever the purpose, field trips are learning experiences as they often offer hands-on, interactive activities. The more senses students use during the interactive process, the more likely they will retain information. Going on a field trip means more than simply leaving the school grounds. Field trips always have a major educational element, but the impact of field trips can extend much further. The importance of field trips includes giving students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom.

Our school organizes quarterly field trips but we also take the liberty of adding or reducing the number of field trips per year, according to the needs of our students. The field trips are also organized by combining grade levels with similar educational interests.

Please continue to check our calendar for info on the next scheduled field trip.
